Collection: PADMORE & BARNES

Padmore & Barnes has been a renowned shoemaking company since 1934. Their goal is to make shoes of quality and distinction. At their peak, they produced 25,000 pairs of shoes per week, exported around the world. Their Kilkenny factory employed over 500 people, and hundreds of people in the surrounding area also worked part-time for the company. For a period of 23 years, from 1964 to 1987, the company was owned by C&J Clarks, and manufactured the famous WALLABEE® shoe in their factory. Since 1987, Padmore & Barnes has been independent and continues to produce quality shoes which are sold in many countries. Their commitment to quality and detail has allowed the company to thrive for over 80 years in international trade.
