Mooncastle is a Japanese knitwear brand founded in 2020 by Ryoichi Tsukishiro, the third generation to head the family business Tsukishiro Knit Co., based in Osaka since 1966. Its name, "月城" (Tsukishiro), pays homage to the founder. Specializing in fine, strong, and elegant knits, Mooncastle stands out for its high standards and attention to detail. The entire process—yarn selection, design, patternmaking, knitting, sewing, and finishing—is carried out in-house, guaranteeing consistent quality. Located in the Senshu region, a mecca of Japanese knitwear, Mooncastle perfectly embodies the spirit of the "workshop brands" that we promote in our selection.
