Pertex® Shield Air

Pertex® Shield Air provides extremely breathable waterproof protection. The Shield Air membrane is a precision-engineered, electrospun nanofiber fabric with an open network of interconnected pores. These pores, small and of constant size, offer low resistance to water vapor, while constituting an effective barrier against liquid water. The unique open structure of the Shield Air membrane allows air to pass through, while providing effective wind resistance and remaining durably waterproof. The result is an extremely light and flexible material with remarkable properties.
